It's low tide and time to go diggin' clams! And we did! This had to be the high light of the kids' stay here so far. They never get to see mud! AND here is a whole beach of it! We walked all the way out to where the water is. I couldn't take my camera out there and get pics of us digging. The mud was slick and the shells/rocks hurt when you step on them. I was afraid I'd slip in the mud. Kids loved it but I didn't want to risk loosing my camera in it.

The Mud Flats
It's low tide and time to go diggin' clams! And we did! This had to be the high light of the kids' stay here so far. They never get to see mud! AND here is a whole beach of it! We walked all the way out to where the water is. I couldn't take my camera out there and get pics of us digging. The mud was slick and the shells/rocks hurt when you step on them. I was afraid I'd slip in the mud. Kids loved it but I didn't want to risk loosing my camera in it.
