I know Muriel was impressed by the size of these snails. We have never seen them this big. The one by her fist was sticking up out of the water so Muriel touched it!
Tell Grandma they aren't slimy when cooked. First you peel off their "door" then you use a fork and pull them out. You have to pull off the black part on the back of them where all the "bad" stuff goes or it'll taste even worse. Snails aren't the tastiest things I've ever eaten and they are rubbery.
Average mom of three kids. Wife for nearly 10 years. Currently, volunteering in my kid's class, cleaning houses for a couple of folks and will be tutoring students who are learning English as a second language in Korea. Also, working on losing those last 40 pounds (lost 40 gained 10 back so I have to loose those 10 + 30 more). I went from a size 20 to a size 10/12 (yeah!).

Grandma says: snails are just nasty slugs without a shell! Can you image eating a slimmy slug? ehh
