Making Rockets

The kids always attract a crowd and here's one of the boys that started talking with the girls whie visiting another park with a fountain. This one showed Lillian how to turn an empty bottle into a rocket. Just put the bottle over the hole and wait for the water to shoot up.

Chinese Water Torture

WHY do children find this so much FUN??? It's a fountain! You are SUPPOSED to RUN through the fountain! NOT SIT ON THE SHOOTING WATER!!!

Name Stamps

Here is mine being made. We got one for each of us. Our names were translated into Korean and put on a stamp. In Korea, the stamp is used instead of your signature for important documents.

Chow Mein Kitty Anyone???

While in China Town, we saw this cat. Kept wondering if the cat belonged to somebody or if it was a "fattening friendship." I hear they still eat cat and dog here...

Football in China Town

Here's one universal pass time that can be found any where in the world. A ball is a ball regardless. There were a couple of guys in the street just tossing the ball around. Haven't seen this in a long time so I took a picture.

Looking for fish in China Town

Sorry, kids. No fish here. Just a lot of water and rocks, oh, and a few flowers. Mikey and Muriel found feathers and ran around a bit looking at everything.

China Town

Mikey and Muriel visited this spot as we passed by. Mikey barely missed a pile of dog poo as he ran to cross the bridge! Everyone and I do mean everyone was yelling "no, no, no!" in either Korean or English as he ran past. As you can see in the picture, Mikey found feathers and was "fishing" with them. I think he has reached a state of desperation and is substituting anything and everything he can for a fishing pole.
